The Business - Suburban Rebels Lyrics | MetroLyrics

The Business - Suburban Rebels Lyrics | MetroLyrics CLICK ON THE LINK ABOVE: This lyric along with Deadend Yobs and National Service is my PUNK Legacy...as is IF LOOKS COULD KILL my Showbiz Legacy. Yesterday my Hospital update was dire...My heart is only 30 per cent capacity and my illness has spread to my stomach, bowels and kidney...so to quote Frank Sinatra "and as I face the final curtain"...I am obsessed by my legacy. That is why my autobiography was/is so important - dead men cant talk - or defend there reputation - that is why we had to do TABLOID TALES. Today I have not got dressed or even washed...I have been taking trips down memory lane and playing various songs that remind me of special times...Prince Buster `Madness` and `Enjoy Yourself`...`Wet Dream` by Max Romeo and `Wild World` by Cat Stevens. A bit of Bowie, Stone Roses, Sex Pistols, Small Faces, The Kinks, The Clash, Rod the Mod, just dipping in and out of random tracks. Even wrote the intro to a song called MEMORY LANE... "A cup of tea and a slice of toast... A Saturday bet and a Sunday roast... That`s as good as it gets... No more fast drugs or one night stands with wannabee models or punk rock bands... With nout in your system and nothing in ya bed... The only highs left are in your head... That`s as good as gets"... I WILL TRY AND FINISH IT OR CHUCK IT IN THE BIN.
