Nice Guys Can Win

The old saying is that "nice guys don`t win".

Well I am the exception to that.

So far 11 interviews and in every one the journalists have been impressed by my friendly character and easy-going nature.

Yes I`m a bit of a charmer and have the `gift of the gab` but you cant fake `sincerity`.

I am genuinely self-effacing and people can see that.

The female journos are genuinely impressed by the way I have no `bitterness` or `anger` towards my ex-wife.

They all wish other men were as reasonable and could be so forgiving.

But as I say in the book "That is just the way I am". I cant change the habits of a lifetime.

What you see is what you get. I am what I am.

I have no time for feuds or revenge ... it`s true my ex-wife did have 4 affairs during the last year of our marriage.

She cheated for 12 months with the pervert grimson, fleming, tibbs and tilson ... but me being `bitter` and `twisted` would not change that fact.

So instead of considering horrible things like posting `revenge porn` on the internet ( even though I had plenty of films )  or `badmouthing` my ex-wife I wrote her a song.

Not a nasty or critical song but a genuine love song.

This has won me a lot of `brownie points` from female writers but at the same time other men have raised there eyebrows.

But as I say in all the interviews my book is the truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth as it is not in my nature to lie or `attack` a person who was once the `love of my life`.

Honesty is the best policy and if you tell the truth you get rewards.

I have by telling the truth and opening my heart in both the book and CD ended up with one of my songs "The One That Got Away" being featured on a radio show called `Tamla Motown Valentine Day Love Songs.

My song is being played alongside legends like Marvin Gaye, Diana Ross, Smokey Robinson and The Temptations.

How cool is that?

And it has only happened because I told the truth and bared my soul in both the Book and CD "PUNK ROCK STORIES AND TABLOID TALES".

As one of the female journos said "Garry you are an example to other men".
